How fast is a lightning strike?
360 million km/hAbout 224 million mph · Cosmic
The bright return stroke races up at about 100,000 km a second, a third of light speed.
That's about 6,400,000 times a red kangaroo's top speed (56 km/h).
⚡360 million km/h
💥a supernova
By speed: a lightning stroke is about 10× faster than a supernova.
